Parking Rules & Regulations
Visitor Parking
- Lots 11 (behind Rec Center, closest to turf field) & 1 (Admission/Alumni House) are for visitors only and are off-limits to all students and employees.
Permit Requirement
- All university-affiliated cars need a $150 parking permit on the lower left corner of the front windshield.
- Cars without valid permits may be fined $100+ or towed.
- Students can't get permits for other students' cars.
- Visitors need a one-day parking pass from the main gate, valid only on the issue date.
Unregistered Vehicles
- Cars without permits and three or more citations may be booted or towed.
- Owner must pay fees to release the vehicle.
- Freshman students face $100 fines for violations.
- Unclaimed booted cars are towed after two days.
Enforcement
- Permit zones enforced 7am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
- Handicapped spaces, fire lanes, etc., strictly enforced at all times.
- Cars must move to designated areas before 7am on weekdays.
- Officers can issue citations 24/7.
- All rules apply during breaks and move-in/out periods.
Regulation Parking Space
- Each parking space is marked by white or yellow lines; double parking not allowed.
- No parking in areas blocking other vehicles, walkways, etc., subject to towing.
No Parking Zones
- Includes areas outside marked parking spaces, like yellow curbs, crosswalks, etc. No tolerance for parking here.
Fire Lanes
- Areas blocking emergency vehicle access, such as marked lanes or obstructing lots, not allowed.
- Violators fined $100+ or towed. If not parked between lines, considered in a fire lane.
