Resources for Sophomore Students

The Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD) offers one-on-one advising, resume and cover letter reviews, workshops, internships, networking opportunities, career fairs, and more.

RWU provides extensive guidance for undergraduate students seeking a range of prestigious fellowships. Fellowships are awards offered by organizations outside of RWU. Many provide financial support as well as invaluable opportunities to enhance research, academic goals, and career plans.

Fellowships are available for sophomores (in addition to other years), both domestic and international, and for all majors.

Explore the possibilities by contacting fellowships@rwu.edu or visit Undergraduate Fellowships.

The Spiegel Center for Global and International Programs is here to help students navigate the broad scope of Roger Williams University’s study abroad opportunities. If you are considering studying abroad, give yourself time to plan and prepare for this amazing opportunity.

Currently there are dozens of programs that students can take advantage of. These programs offer a wide variety of experiences that range from semester terms as a visiting student at one of our overseas partner universities to field based programs giving students hands-on experiences. Students also have summer and winter, short-term program options available as well. Engage with the local cultures by participating in global service opportunities, internships and other immersive experiences. We have students gaining valuable global experiences in Italy, Spain, Ireland, France, Australia, South Korea, China, Spain, Costa Rica, Greece, and Germany to name just a few locations.

The Center is located in the Global & Community Engagement Building, often referred to as “The Farmhouse”. The best way to find out more about these study abroad opportunities is to visit the Spiegel Center for Global and International Programs located in “The Farmhouse” or log on to https://rwuabroad.rwu.edu.
