Henderson Outstanding Tutor Awards Lt. Charles A. Henderson III, USN ’99 The Lt. Charles A. Henderson III USN ’99 Outstanding Tutor Awards recognize three tutors every year -- in Writing, Math and Science -- who best and most consistently demonstrate superior tutoring skill and content area knowledge, commitment to the collaborative learning process, and dedication to helping and inspiring all learners to achieve success in a positive, encouraging environment. The awards are presented at the Student Life Achievement Awards ceremony in May.
With these awards, we honor the late Lt. Charles A. Henderson III, USN, RWU ’99, and his spirit of sharing in the world of ideas and reaching out to help others.
