Marketing Web Production Internship
Job Description
Roger Williams University's Office of Marketing & Communications is seeking a motivated, resourceful, and tech-savvy student to serve as a Web Production Intern. The intern will work directly with the Web Production Manager to edit and update the rwu.edu and law.rwu.edu websites. Applicants should have a strong level of experience with website production, a demonstrated writing ability, organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and solo.
Responsibilities
- Use Siteimprove to identify and remediate quality assurance and accessibility issues on the rwu.edu website.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to make content updates to the rwu.edu and law.rwu.edu websites.
- Review and publish website edits made by faculty, staff, and student web content editors.
- Provide assistance to web content editors as needed: answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing support.
- Collaborate with the Web Production Manager and the larger MarComm staff to gain an understanding of how and what we communicate to reach our primary audiences (prospective students/parents, alumni, and the on-campus community).
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of website production and design.
- Strong writing, grammar, and communication skills.
- Be a full-time undergraduate student living on or off campus.
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Professional, responsible, organized.
- Creative mindset.
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
