RWU Ranked No. 28, Named Best Value School in U.S. News Rankings
RWU also makes lists for Best Undergraduate Engineering Program and Top Performers on Social Mobility
BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University remains among the top 30 colleges in U.S. News & World Report rankings, coming in at No. 28 for the 2023 Best Regional Universities in the North list. In the rankings released today, RWU also earned spots on the lists for Best Value Schools, Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs, and Top Performers on Social Mobility.
Roger Williams was designated as a Best Value School for providing the highest-quality education at an affordable price, making an RWU degree an excellent return on investment. Being named as Top Performers on Social Mobility recognized the university’s success in graduating first-generation college students and students with the greatest financial-aid need.

Fortune ranked Roger Williams #10 for the 2022 Best Online Master’s in Cybersecurity Degree in America. As demand grows for highly trained cybersecurity professionals, RWU offers both an M.S. and an M.A. in Cybersecurity, all taught fully online to meet the needs of students balancing careers and families.
Another recent ranking by Niche ranked RWU No. 1 for best college food in Rhode Island and 20th nationally, recognizing the quality and range of dining options, commitment to sustainability and to sourcing food locally. Niche also put RWU at No. 103 for Best College Campuses in America.
Additionally, the Campus Pride Index gave RWU 4 out of 5 stars for support and inclusivity of the LGBTQIA+ student community. The university received highest marks in counseling and health services, residence life, campus safety, and institutional support and commitment, all helping to make Roger Williams an inclusive institution that nurtures a sense of belonging for LGBTQIA+ students.
