George E. Garvin Jr. Memorial Scholarship

The Bristol community is saddened by the loss of our friend and neighbor, George E. Garvin Jr., a fixture of the Bristol Rotary Club and East Bay Chamber of Commerce. In lieu of flowers, the Garvin family requests donations in honor of George to be directed towards an academic scholarship at Roger Williams University.

The George E. Garvin Jr. Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to students with financial need to honor George’s legacy of kindness and generosity to everyone he met. It is the family’s hope that his scholarship will continue his commitment to service for all those he met through work and his many hobbies.
