Corporate & Foundation Giving
Corporations and Foundations are active and much-appreciated partners in supporting students, faculty and learning at RWU!
At the same time, RWU offers many opportunities that serve business needs through internships, recruitment, research, speakers and professional development. From scholarships to research projects to a range of campus initiatives, businesses and philanthropic organizations are connecting with the University in support of goals and projects important to each of these partners.
Corporate & Foundation Relations is housed in our Grants and Contracts Office as well as in the Office of Annual Giving. The Grants Office oversees proposals and awards related to corporate and private foundations. The Office of Annual Giving directs the Corporate Scholars Program and Annual Giving. There are also a variety of other ways in which Institutional Advancement connects corporations and foundations with RWU programs, events and projects. We welcome the opportunity to discuss additional ways to further our mutual interests.
For Corporations and Foundations
Local businesses and corporations are encouraged to review our Corporate Scholars Program to learn about how your contributions help students with financial need achieve their dreams of earning a college degree. The Corporate Scholars Program also supports undergraduate research and field work, visiting professorships, student organizations and student services. Other opportunities for corporations include sponsorship of events and programs that not only help raise corporate visibility and recognition but are also interconnected with the mission of RWU.

For Faculty and Staff
The Grants Office is the central clearinghouse on behalf of the University for all funding requests to private and corporate foundations and to government agencies. We offer assistance to deans, faculty and staff in developing grant proposals and budgets, locating potential funding sources and ensuring that funding requests fit the University’s policies and procedures related to grant activities. Faculty and staff should begin by going to the Grant Resource Center.
