Why did you choose #myRWU? “During my undergrad search I came to Accepted Students Day and met one of the professors and the way he talked about psychology and teaching it really made me want to do psychology as my major. It also made me want to come here because it seemed as though all the faculty had the same kind of mentality of helping you understand and just learn about the different areas of psychology.” Psychology major and American studies core concentration, Samantha Gonzaga ’19
Samantha landed a post-graduate job at Behavioral Connection as an ABA Therapist.
What was your favorite memory at #myRWU? “My favorite memory at Roger Williams was meeting my fiancé. We met my first freshman class, American Studies 101, she sat behind me and stole my hat. We’ve been together ever since.” Marketing major and graphic design minor, Quinn Gaston ’19
Quinn earned a full-time job opportunity at a B2B marketing firm called Raven CT.
What was your favorite memory at #myRWU? “My favorite memory at RWU was working for the Campus Entertainment Network and getting to put on a lot of fun events. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Andy Grammer for like 6 hours.” Legal studies and political science double major, Cheyenne Quintal ’19.
Cheyenne will be attending law school next fall at New England Law Boston.
What was your favorite memory at #myRWU? “My favorite memory at RWU was my ability to be a part of student senate. Being elected official was pretty cool. Also, being Academic Affairs Chair and Finance Chair has given me that ability to connect with administrators and other students. The friendships that I’ve made here will be memorable. I will be sad to let that go, but excited to move on.” Business management major and psychology minor, Loren Sullivan ’19
Loren will continue her journey at RWU for the MBA 4+1 program.
What was your favorite memory at #myRWU? “My favorite memory at RWU is joining the women’s rugby team my freshman year. The team has been a big part of my college experience and the sport has taught me great life skills like teamwork, organization and time management. Also being captain the past 2 years I have been able to improve upon my leadership skills which will help me in the future. I am thankful for the friendships and connections I have made over these fast 4 years at RWU.” Creative writing major and an educational studies and arts management double minor, Courtney Dell’Agnese'19.
Courtney's internship with University Marketing of RWU turned into a full-time Content Creator position.
What was your favorite memory at #myRWU? "There’s a lot of things I could say about RWU and my time here. I met some of my closest friends here. I discovered who I was as a writer. I met Uncle Joey from Full House. But the most important part of my journey at RWU was finding my calling. With the support from professors like Renee Soto and Meg Case, I took a chance at an internship with the Marketing Department, doing things I had never envisioned myself doing and now have started my career with them. Working for such an incredible group of people here at RWU makes me so unbelievably grateful for all that this school has offered me." National relations and legal studies double major and French core concentration, Shami Ngarambe'19
Shami plans on applying to law school this summer.
What was your favorite memory at #myRWU? "My favorite memory at RWU was playing in intramural soccer with my best friends that I met here and winning the title 3 years in a row. "I am most proud of the legacy that I have left behind in regards to my intercultural, social justice, and civil discourse involvement and just extracurricular programming in general to ensure that the students of color who come after me have a space."
