School of Business Highlights
At GSB, we are constantly innovating to prepare our students for new industries and opportunities in an always evolving global marketplace.
Faculty and Staff
Composed of experienced academics and accomplished business professionals, our faculty and staff are experts in merging theory with practice. Both inside and outside the classrooms, they help guide students to successful careers. We do not use teaching assistants or graduate assistants in the classroom. Our talented and dedicated faculty and practitioner faculty, most of whom are drawn from the most senior levels of corporate leadership, provide all classroom instruction.
Advancing Women in Business
The business world needs more powerful women leaders. Research has shown that organizations with diverse management and leadership ranks are more successful. Those of us at the Gabelli School of Business at RWU are keenly aware of this and we are committed and passionate about our role and opportunity to shape these future leaders.
The Poets and Quants rankings are a testament to our amazing experiential learning opportunities delivered by talented faculty in small class sizes, and an innovative, career-focused curriculum that results in strong professional outcomes for our students. I am so proud that our transformational business education is being nationally recognized.
Diya Das, Dean of the Gabelli School"The Center for Advanced Financial Education, known as CAFE, is a two-semester credit-based program taught in a Wall Street simulator, equipped with the latest technology and equipment.
For students in CAFE, they gain experiential knowledge of the high-risk world of global investing in preparation for a career in the financial sector. And it’s not a theoretical simulator. The pressure for the students to deliver is real, as hundreds of thousands of dollars in a student-run fund are on the line."
