The Gabelli School of Business has five undergraduate Program Outcomes that are closely tied to mission and that include:

Technology and Resources

GSB hosts state-of-the art technology like our Bloomberg analytics lab; the Robert F. Stoico Financial Services Center that serves finance, business analytics and marketing research; and a newly renovated facility for the Center for Advanced Financial Education (CAFE) complete with Bloomberg and Moneynet.com resources that help our students manage two real-dollar portfolios in real time.

Experiential Learning

Students inside the Stoico/FirstFed classroom.We bridge theory with hands-on practice so that our students graduate already prepared with the academic knowledge and real-world experiences employers are seeking. With experiential education as the cornerstone of a GSB education, our students have the opportunity to dive deeper and challenge themselves through real-world projects, national competitions, internships and study abroad programs.

Advisory Council

The Gabelli School of Business Advisory Council (GSBAC) is a volunteer leadership body comprised of Roger Williams University alumni and friends committed to advancing RWU’s mission and vision for the Mario J. Gabelli School of Business (GSB.) This non-governing, advisory board offers informed guidance and insights to the Dean and other GSB leadership on strategic initiatives and School programs. 

Advisors play an active role at RWU by working with GSB leadership in forging deeper connections with professional and industry partners to ensure the quality of our curriculum, expand resources for our faculty and students, increase the GSB’s experiential education offerings, and build upon our reputation for excellence in business education. 

A group of distinguished business leaders, from the profit and non-profit sectors, provide invaluable external perspective and counsel for the school’s endeavors.
