Center for Cybersecurity, Applications, Research, and Cyber-Defense Strategies (CARDS)

The Center for Cybersecurity, Applications, Research, and Cyber-Defense Strategies (CARDS) at Roger Williams University (RWU) is an interdisciplinary and intercollegiate center for education, research, training, and community outreach.

The CARDS provides the cybersecurity workforce with requisite knowledge and skills, as well as a learning platform in various aspects of cybersecurity and privacy through degree programs, professional certificates, training opportunities, research, and community outreach. CARDS is housed in RWU’s School of Justice Studies, which is committed to interdisciplinary and intercollegiate education.

Mission

The mission of CARDS is to foster excellence in the fields of cybersecurity and privacy through teaching, research, and training opportunities, all of which are designed to nurture the cybersecurity workforce.
