Scholarly Communication & Open Access

The rapid exchange of information on the internet, rising journal prices, and the mandate for open access to publicly funded research are changing the nature of scholarly communication.

Efforts have been taken by the RWU Library to support Open Access publishing. Faculty and students are encouraged to publish in OA journals, and to negotiate rights in order to participate in DOCS@RWU, the RWU open access institutional repository.
