G3arquitectos was co-founded in 1997 by María de los Ángeles Garduño, Armando González and Alfonso Garduño. For more than 20 years, the office has designed and built for the public sector and private a wide array of projects: collective housing, education, culture/religion, mixed used, as well as public space and urban design. G3Arquitectos has presented their work in many national and international venues, including Quito Biennale in 2014; Venice Biennale in 2016 and Harvard GSD in 2019. In 2016, the office was awarded with the NY League Prize and, in 2019, as Design Vanguard by Architectural Record in New York, among other awards and publications. 

Alfonso Garduño is the founder of the Mexican firm G3 Arquitectos and strategic urban projects director at the Mobility Secretariat of Querétaro. In addition to his professional practice, he is also an architecture professor at the Monterrey Institute of Technology. He is a visiting assistant professor at the Sam Fox School for the 2023-24 academic year.
