World Digital Preservation Day

University Library

Join us in the Library Makerspace on November 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to celebrate World Digital Preservation Day. With this year's theme Preserving Our Digital Content: Celebrating Communities, this is a great opportunity to connect with the digital preservation community, and to celebrate the digital legacy of all types of communities around the world.

We will help you digitize one of your personal items-- photographs, slides, documents, posters, VHS, DVDs, and more. Just bring a willingness to learn and a USB drive to store your digital copy on. Please note that we can only digitize items in the public domain or for which you are the copyright holder. We also cannot assume responsibility if your item is damaged in the process of digitization.

Don’t have anything to digitize? No problem, we do! You are welcome to help us digitize RWU yearbooks, course catalogs, and other items from the RWU Archives. Hope to see you there!
