Senator Sheldon WhitehouseSenator Sheldon Whitehouse will discuss his two recent books – “Captured” and “The Scheme” – and hold a book signing at Roger Williams University. “Captured” discusses the corporate capture of regulatory and government agencies. “The Scheme: How the Right Wing Used Dark Money to Capture the Supreme Court” explores a decades-long, behind-the-scenes manipulation of our political and justice systems to capture our courts — specifically the Supreme Court — as a way to control the future of our democracy. Copies of the books will be available to purchase. The event is being cosponsored by the School of Law and the Department of Politics and International Relations.
