Virtual Talking in the Library with Poet Robert Pinsky
Join us on Thursday October 8th at 7:00 pm for a virtual Talking in the Library event with Poet and Former US Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky.
Serving three terms as the United States Poet Laureate, Robert Pinsky notably founded the Favorite Poem Project, in which thousands of Americans — of varying backgrounds, all ages, and from every state — share their favorite poems.
In addition to being the only member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters to have appeared on “The Simpsons” and “The Colbert Report,” Pinsky has been a regular contributor to PBS’s The News- Hour, and publishes frequently in magazines such as The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, The Threepenny Review and The Best American Poetry anthologies. He teaches in the graduate writing program at Boston University.
