The Department of Media + Design + Communication provides students with the theory and hands-on, project-based learning they need to succeed in a variety of communication and design careers. Whether students are interested in studying communication and culture, writing news stories, websites, or crafting brand images, our programs build the foundational skills needed to engage with a larger world.
Courses are taught by skilled faculty who guide students along their paths, helping them explore areas they are passionate about and develop the creative skills they need to be successful in life. Through internships and on-campus clubs and organizations, our students become well-rounded in their fields of study and gain real-world experience they use to bolster their resumes.
