Designed exclusively for RWU undergraduate students to seamless continue on at RWU to earn their masters degree.

Bachelor's Plus programs offer seamless admission: 

  • Students in the RWU undergraduate program take up to two graduate courses that count toward both their bachelors and masters degree during the senior year before starting the graduate program. 
  • Take advantage of our Career Investment program which offer guaranteed paid internships or  assistantships during your studies 
  • The M.Arch provides the necessary credentials for students to pursue licensure in the United States.

3+ 1 Program 

Complete your bachelors degree in 3 years and continue on to your MBA in your "Plus" year. 

Two entry points

  • Pre-acceptance: We offer qualified undergraduate applicants pre-acceptance into the MBA at the time of undergraduate admission with a guaranteed scholarship for the MBA equivalent in discount to your undergraduate scholarship. 
  • Current undergraduates can apply first semester junior year (as a rising senior) 

4+1 Program 

Take one graduate level course (3 credits) during your undergraduate senior year that will count toward both your bachelors and masters degree. Reducing your post bachalors gradaute course work from 36 to 33 credits!

  • Pre-acceptance: We offer qualified undergraduate applicants pre-acceptance into the MBA 4+1 program at the time of undergraduate admission
  • Current undergraduates can apply first semester junior year

Apply first semester junior year for the oppotunity to take up to two graduate courses (6 credits) during your undergraduate senior year that will count toward both your bachelors and masters degree. Reducing your post bachalors gradaute course work from 36 to 30 credits, saving time and money! 

Learn more about the Criminal Justice (M.S)

Designed for students with an undergraduate degree in Historic Preservation or Preservation Studies, the M.S. in Preservation Practices can be completed in just 34 credits over one calendar year. The program prepares students for practice in areas of cultural resource management, community planning, and place-based revitalization and redevelopment. The program couples a multi-disciplinary approach with a rigorous core of field-based professional preservation offerings, and provides students a guaranteed paid internship over the duration of their studies.

Apply first semester junior year for the oppotunity to take up to two graduate courses (six credits) during your undergraduate senior year that will count toward both your bachelors and masters degree. The remaining eight courses (nine for secondary certification candidates) are completed as matriculated graduate students in one full-time year of study.

Earn your bachelor’s and juris doctor degrees in six years through RWU’s Three-Plus-Three Law program. You’ll get a jump-start on your J.D. by integrating law courses into your undergraduate studies and completing undergraduate requirements in your first year of law school. Interested students must indicate their intent to pursue a 3+3 pathway early in their undergraduate studies for curriculum planning and advising. 

This program is administered through the School of Law. All students interested in applying to the program must adhere to published admission requirements by the School of Law.

Ready to Apply?

Masters Degree Applicants: 

Applications for Bachelor’s Plus undergraduate to graduate continue students  are due by Nov. 1st first semester of the junior year to ensure acceptance prior to senior year advising. 

  1. Completed application form online
  2. Letter of Intent (two double-spaced pages maximum) describing your interest in your intended program, career goals, and how you can positively contribute to the graduate program at Roger Williams University
  3. Two (2) letters of recommendation from professional sources or academic faculty attesting to your potential to succeed in graduate school. (Architecture students are exempt from this requirement)
  4. Official RWU Transcripts (The Office of Graduate Admission will request these on your behalf).

Your letter of intent and letters of recommendation may be emailed directly to us at gradadmit@rwu.edu. Emailed letters of recommendation must come directly from your recommenders.

J.D 3+ 3 Applicants:

If you are applying to the J.D. 3+3 programs you need to apply through the RWU School of Law and should work with your academic advisors for appropriate planning.
