The Student Coordinator will maintain regularly scheduled office hours, during which they will be responsible for assisting Diversity Leadership Program staff members with coordinating programs and performing daily office tasks. This includes but is not limited to coordinating programs and events, communicating information to mentors and mentees on a regular basis, compiling end of year profiles on mentor/mentee relationships, reaching out to staff, faculty and students to plan programs and field trips, assisting with evaluation and creating surveys, ordering food, program set up and clean up, answering the phone, running errands around campus, making photocopies, researching on the internet, and other tasks as needed.
The Student Coordinator is responsible for welcoming guests and creating an inviting environment at the Intercultural Center. They are also responsible for assisting mentees of the Diversity Leadership Program during their office hours. The Student Coordinator should be culturally sensitive and understanding in order to help build a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Hours will vary, but will be between 5-10 per week.
