The Latino Policy Institute Communications Internship is a paid, work-study position that fulfills a variety of roles within the communications team. Interns will gain experience working in the field of communications, specifically public relations and journalism.
Here at LPI, students working with us learn hands-on what it is like to work in the field of communications. Interns are treated as team members and given tasks that provide them with the ability to grow as professionals. Student must be willing to travel to our Providence office for a minimum of twice a week. Our office is located at 150 Washington Street in Providence. After interning with LPI, each student will leave with a portfolio of work completed throughout the semester.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Student should be entering their junior or senior year. Student should be ready to work in a professional environment and be confident working both dependently and independently. Student should have a flexible schedule, as different meeting times do come up.
