We offer a variety of experiences to connect with our campus community and the Office of Admission. Our in-person and virtual offerings are dynamic and designed to provide our visitors with an in-depth look at the RWU experience and give you a sense of what it's like to be an RWU Hawk. We are adding experiences and sessions as we are able to, so please check back frequently, or contact us if you don’t see something that will work for you.

Spring Open House

Discover what an RWU education looks like during our Spring Open House event on Sunday, April 21. Our 70+ academic majors and minors will be represented during our Academic Fair, allowing you to meet the faculty and Deans, and ask all your questions. Find out about our 100% guaranteed RWU Internship Experience, which joins classroom studies with hands-on experience in industry, community. You can also take student-led tours of our beautiful waterfront campus and state-of-the-art facilities.

In-Person Visit Experiences

Tour our campus to discover what makes Roger Williams University distinctive. 

Information Session and Student-Led Tour: We offer weekday tours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 a.m, 11:30 a.m., and 2 p.m. Numerous weekend tours are available throughout the spring. During popular vacation weeks, we offer expanded tours. We also offer tours on Tuesday (by request only). Call 401-254-3500 or email visit@rwu.edu to schedule a Tuesday tour. 

Academic Showcase Tours: All showcase tours include an information session, a school-specific program tour and Q&A, and conclude with an abbreviated campus tour. Options are available for School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management  (March 25 or April 15), Marine Biology (April 18), and Mario J. Gabelli School of Business (April 11). 

First-Generation Information Sessions: Includes our an Information Session, a campus tour, and a panel featuring First-Gen students. Available on April 17.

Virtual Experiences

Not able to visit? No worries! We’ve got you covered. This is your chance to interact with RWU students, staff, and alumni to find out more about the RWU experience. 

We also have Virtual Financial Aid Sessions on March 19 and 28, and April 16 and 25. This session will provide a brief overview on the Financial Aid Process, tips and info on how to complete FAFSA, and discuss the real cost of attendance.

Counselor and Group Visits

Counselor Visits: We welcome visits from high school and independent counselors. Reserve your spot for a 30 minute admission information session, followed by a 60-90 minute student-led walking tour of the campus. 

Group Visits: Are you looking for ways to keep students engaged, mix up content, and get them out of the classroom? We hope you'll explore our Group Visit programs. We tailor each and every visit to ensure the best possible experience. Request a date/time that works best for your group (we'll do our best to accommodate). If you would like to include a special topic presentation, lunch in our dining hall, or another visit component, please include this in the additional information section at the end of the form.
