Although her dad is one of RWU’s most active alumni, it took a little more than just his stories to persuade Jamie to follow in his footsteps. Jamie fell in love with RWU’s campus and the friendship she formed with one of the University’s Student Advocates, Lauren, was a key part of her decision to attend RWU. Today, Jamie has reversed those roles and now spends her time helping her fellow students through both the Student Advocacy and Student Accessibility Services offices. An active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), Jamie was currently elected president of the RWU chapter, serves as the media and marketing director for the Hawks’ Herald student newspaper and is a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH). Next up on her itinerary? A public relations internship with Save the Bay.
