Alec loved RWU’s small class sizes and friendly community, but it was the top-ranked sailing program that really attracted him to campus. A sailor from the age of six, Alec was a co-captain of the RWU team, a finalist for the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association’s College Sailor of the Year award and part of team that brought the University its first national sailing title. As a student, Alec spent over 35 hours on the water or in the gym each week, but still found time to focus on his International Business major. He also fulfilled his captain’s duties such as scheduling regattas and planning events like the 10th annual RWU Captain’s Cup, a family and alumni regatta. After graduation Alec has set his sights on training for a berth in the 2016 Olympics. Alec is going for gold. What will you do?
