Online Graduate Application
IMPORTANT NOTES (Please read before applying):

Applications and required credentials do not need to be sent in a single, complete package; each credential can be submitted as it is available.

All programs require transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended that granted credit used toward an undergraduate degree, regardless of the number of credits earned. Transcripts from all institutions are still required even if transfer credits were granted at the instituion where you obtained your undergraduate degree.

If you completed your undergraduate degree at Roger Williams University:

Your application fee is waived. Please contact the Office of Continuing Studies and Graduate Admission for a fee waiver code to use when applying online. If you are completing a paper application, indicating RWU as your undergraduate institution is sufficient; you will not need to submit an application fee.

You do not need to submit an official undergraduate transcript; the Office of Continuing Studies and Graduate Admission will request this on your behalf

If you are a military service member, spouse, dependent, or Department of Defense employee:

Your application fee is waived. Please contact the Office of Continuing Studies and Graduate Admission for a fee waiver code to use when applying online. If you are completing a paper application, indicating your military status is sufficient; you will not need to submit an application fee.

If you are an RWU employee eligible for Tuition Remission and have been accepted to a graduate program, please submit a copy of your fully approved Tuition Remission form to the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies admission via mail, email, or fax. Once received, your tuition deposit will be waived.

Applicants to the Teacher Residency Program:
Non-Matriculating Students
Some graduate programs offer applicants the ability to enroll in an individual course as a non-matriculating student. However, students are limited in the number of courses that can be taken outside of a full degree program. Programs that allow for non-matriculating status are listed below, and the maximum number of individual courses that can be taken before being required to apply to the full degree program are indicated in parentheses.

Interested applicants should complete the Non-Matriculating application below, and must submit an official transcript from your undergraduate institution showing a conferred Bachelor's degree (both documents are required in order to be approved to enroll in the course).
*Non-matriculating applicants to the Literacy Education program must also submit a copy of a valid Teaching Certificate.
