How to Apply

Undergraduate continuing studies enrollment proceeds in a unique two-step process -- admittance and then acceptance. All prospective students, including those not seeking a degree, must file a formal Continuing Studies Application. This application differs from the University application to reflect the open admissions policy found in undergraduate Continuing Studies.

Steps for Admission to the School of Continuing Studies:

1. Contact the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies to arrange a meeting (telephone or face-to-face) with an SGCS Advisor to evaluate your existing credits and develop a preliminary educational plan to assist with your enrollment decision. (At a minimum, unofficial transcripts will be required at this time.) There is no financial obligation required now.
2. Once you have made the decision to enroll at RWU either as a matriculating degree or certificate student or as a non-matriculating student,  complete an SGCS Application for Admission.
3. Submit the application and application fee (fee waived for military students) to:

4. At this point you are eligible to enroll in coursework

Steps for Acceptance in Undergraduate Continuing Studies

1. Submit an official high school transcript or grade results of G.E.D.
2. Submit official transcripts of all prior colleges attended, if applicable
3. Submit official documentation of military training and experience, if applicable
4. Submit official documentation of CLEP, DSST or other standardized exam results, if applicable
