The two-day Pre-Employment Background Investigation Seminar is designed to provide police officers and administrators with information that will assist them in the pre-employment screening of police applicants. Discussion will revolve upon the entire aspect of “hiring the right employee” and will specifically address the recruitment, application, selection and background investigation phases of the process. The session will include interview techniques, generating sources of information, and completing the background investigation report.
This program is hosted by the South Burlington (VT) Police Department and is presented by the Roger Williams University – Justice System Training & Research Institute in partnership with the New England Association of Chiefs of Police, Inc.
The cost for the seminar is $260.00, which includes materials.
