The half-day Continuity of Operations TTX for First Responders is focused on the ability to maintain core services and leadership to the community during the first hours of a disaster response and into the short term recovery phase by having a strong, well thought out continuity plan. The exercise has been designed to highlight the critical role that Continuity of Operations has in today’s emergency management field among first responders and community leaders. By drawing from Lessons Learned and Best Practices, agencies will be better equipped to identify their Mission Essential Functions and ensure those functions can be continued throughout the life cycle of a deliberate or naturally-occurring disruption to normal operations.
There are no costs associated with this exercise. To register, submit the form below to Liz Campo, Administrative Assistant to the School of Justice Studies, via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or fax (401) 254-3351. Liz can be reached by phone at (401) 254-3731.
