At Roger Williams University, we pride ourselves on our small class sizes and personal attention. You will be taught by our accomplished and dedicated faculty members and have access to all resources the University has to offer, including personalized advising and courses of study. Our programs are backed by more than 50 years of academic rigor and an outstanding reputation as one of the Northeast’s leading universities.

As a service member, you are eligible to enroll in any of the academic programs offered by the University provided you meet the admission requirements. Our military program enables distance learners to complete classes online, including programs such as Criminal Justice, Industrial Technology and Public Administration.

A unique benefit of the Roger Williams University learning experience is a personal advisor. You will be assigned an advisor who will assist with the formulation of a personalized degree plan. Your advisor will assist with registration and enrollment procedures, identify appropriate courses and learning experiences, supervise your work, monitor your records and communicate with faculty and others who may be involved with your programs.

Your advisor is responsible for guiding you through the stages of our educational programs. Your advisor has primary responsibility for you, from the formulation of your program to its completion. At RWU, we offer continuous advisement throughout the year.
