After some initial interest in a larger university, Scott chose RWU for the individual attention from professors, scenic waterfront campus and impressive science facilities. A biology major with plans to apply to med school, Scott is taking advantage of those facilities as a research assistant in RWU’s 3,000-square-foot WetLab. Scott’s passion for research led him to found a Colleges Against Cancer chapter at RWU and co-chair the University’s Relay for Life event, which raised more than $38,000 last year for cancer research funding. Of course it’s not all about the research; Scott is also an Orientation Advisor, a Hall Council Member and an RA. Scott is blazing a trail for his future. What will you do?
