DJ was a fixture on campus. The 4+1 BS/MS Historic Preservation grad was a Resident Assistant, a member of the cross country team, president of the Historic Preservation Society and a Mr. RWU contestant. Despite his hectic schedule, DJ was able to take on a summer internship at Montauk Point Lighthouse, and lead the HP Society in community service events. But, that's only the start of it. DJ wrote a final thesis looked at the adaptive reuse of WWII fire control stations, he collaborated with the city of Providence on a Main Street Project through the Community Parternship Center and was in talks with President Farish about the original identity of RWU's campus, and how to honor it.
DJ is paying homage to history.
