When David chose RWU for its close-knit community he had no idea how important the University’s network would be for him after graduation. A phone call from alumna Thea Marcoux ’00 to the dean of the Mario J. Gabelli School of Business about an open position in her department set the stage for David’s future. Thanks to a great connection and a stellar interview, David is now a Business Intelligence Associate with SCHOTT glass manufacturers. He’s putting his degree to work in market research and intelligence, traveling to present products ranging from fighter jet windshields to dental filling components at trade shows in the U.S. and Europe. And although Thea has been promoted and placed at the company’s headquarters in Germany, she continues to be David’s mentor and friend.
