To develop a nationally recognized model for international and intercultural education through curricular and co-curricular programs, which strongly reflect RWU’s commitment to prepare students to be compassionate, productive, ethical, and responsible global citizens in the increasingly interdependent global society.
We commit ourselves to work closely with RWU campus community members and beyond for the goal of equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are necessary for students to think critically, pursue truth, and to succeed in this interdependent, diverse, and rapidly changing world. We will achieve this goal through introducing study, work, and volunteer abroad opportunities, encouraging faculty-led programs abroad, developing and administering international programs, seeking external funds to support interdisciplinary and area studies, and providing appropriate services to students and international visiting scholars.
