Walley School (Bristol) Feasibility Study (2011-present)

Project Description: Year-long planning and design process resulting in an architectural and business feasibility study for the reuse of the historic Walley School on the Bristol Town Common as an arts/education facility.

Colt Horse Stable (Bristol) (2010-present)
Partner: Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management
RWU Programs Engaged: Architecture, Historic Preservation and School of Law
Project Description: Multi-disciplinary team is providing rehabilitation planning, recommendations and cost estimates for reuse of the historic barn, as well as research on best practices for a resident curatorship program.

Bristol Marine Armory Reuse Study (2011-present)
Partner: Town of Bristol
RWU Program Engaged: Architecture
Project Description: The CPC is assisting the Town to understand if the Bristol Marine Armory can be reused as a Transient Boater Facility & Emergency Management Center. CPC students interviewed potential users and prepared a space allocation summary that is being used by Town in applying for grants for professional design services.
