COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER: 12 WEEKS!

Although there are still three months to go until the end of the semester, it is extremely important to start determining what your plans are going to be for the summer. After finals are done, many students are in desperate need of a period of relaxation where they can regain their momentum to pursue other obligations. While it is important to rest after having put in your best effort to complete final exams and papers, it is also a great time to start working in a job that reflects your interests so you can make the most of your time!

Choosing a major is a difficult decision. We spend most of our waking life working, so there are a lot of pressures that ride on the choice you make, such as how much education you’ll need, how much money you can expect to make, how in love with the work you will be, and how satisfied your parents will be with your choice. That’s a lot to think about, so let’s make it a little bit more simple by focusing on the most important aspect of that decision-making process: how in love with the work you will be. That’s right. How passionate you are about what you’ll be doing. Your best decision won't come from pleasing your parents or following the money.
