August 21st, 2013 by dalexander

Associate Professor of Art Murray McMillan and his wife Megan McMillan’s nine “coal boulders” will be loaded in a processional at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, from 8-10pm on August 16, to launch their latest work “The Coal Bin Project.” This one-night performance will be a celebratory processional where musicians, artists and friends will gather to march the McMillans' sculptures through the WaterFire space to be loaded into waiting trucks, which will then be driven to North Adams, MA where they will be installed for a video shoot in an unused coal bin in the Boiler Plant building at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA).
