2010 Visiting Professor of Architecture Paul Lukez’s book, Transforming the Mid-Polis is nearing completion, co-edited by Lukez and China’s Bao Li.  The editors gather the work of leading figures and firms active in contemporary world architecture, urbanism and the arts alongside students taught by Lukez at Southwest University, Nanjing; Washington University, St. Louis and Roger Williams University to evaluate the “Mid-Polis” condition—between the city center and the suburban fringe--worldwide.
