A diverse educational community, the School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation (SAAHP) prepares students for leadership in professional practice, service and individual creative pursuits. We are committed to balance between creation and conservation, aesthetic and technical pursuits, national and international perspectives, individual exploration and community involvement, classroom and lifelong learning. Students in SAAHP will work hard, but will be rewarded -- both during their time on campus and in their future endeavors.
Your artwork displayed on campus! Art on Campus was established to display student and faculty artwork throughout the Roger Williams University campus in interior and exterior public spaces.
The Roger Williams University Community Partnerships Center delivers project-based services to local and regional communities, broadening and deepening the academic experiences of students in SAAHP and many other RWU programs through real-world projects and collaborations with clients.
From the International Fellows Program and Visiting Faculty and Artists, to the Visiting Firm in Residence and study abroad programs from Florence, Italy to Beijing, China, the School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation has global reach available to all of its students.
