With decades of experience launching students on business careers that range from analytics to risk management to the art and science of leading successful organizations, GSB is well positioned to work with you on choosing a major to make it informative, fun and closely linked to your professional and personal goals. We offer a host of resources to assist in this important journey, including:

• A first-year Enterprise course that covers multiple business topics and disciplines enables you to discover what might interest you. It even allows you to develop a plan to launch your own business.

• Small classes that offer a personalized approach to business education. This helps students to get to know other students and their faculty, fostering conversation and insights into various academic and professional opportunities.

• Bloomberg Businessweek self-assessment exercises, which have been developed by some of the the most respected business faculty in the world, in partnership with global business practitioners. These exercises help match your passion and interest with potential career paths and are very useful for exploratory students.

Designed for GSB undergraduates, this program provides a time- and cost-efficient way to earn your MBA in 0-1 additional year rather than the traditional two-year MBA degree programs.

3+3 Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Bachelor's Program

This accelerated 3+3 program allows eligible students to complete their bachelor's and Juris Doctor J.D. degrees in six years instead of seven. Accepted students will take first-year courses in the School of Law along with legal electives to fulfill undergraduate fourth-year requirements.

Take Part in Experiential Learning

No matter your major, GSB students have plenty of opportunities to take part in experiential learning. From regional and national competitions to internship experiences and on-campus resources including the E. L. Wiegand Center for Advanced Financial Education (CAFE), Robert F. Stoico/FIRSTFED Financial Services Center, and Bloomberg Lab, students have rewarding hands-on experiences while integrating high-tech research and analysis into their work.

Manage Real Portfolios

Students working inside the CAFE Selected Finance students manage four real-dollar portfolios in the E. L. Wiegand Center for Advanced Financial Education (CAFE), a state-of-the-art trading room equipped with the latest software, large-screen TVs tuned to breaking financial news, Bloomberg technology, and an 8-foot, real-time stock ticker connected to global financial markets.

Work in a Trading Room

The Robert F. Stoico/FIRSTFED Financial Services Center offers students the experience of working in a trading room with real-time data from financial markets around the world. Less than half of the nation’s AACSB accredited business schools have this kind of facility, and the RWU center contains the most current technology available.

Succeed at National Competitions

Our students put their business strategies to the test and build real-world skills at prestigious regional and national advertising and analytics competitions. Our teams consistently place among the top teams in the region and the nation.
